i added another strip to my fog light area.
it looks much better now, it looks like actual lights now rather than a strip.
too much glare for my phone at night. i guess ill have to take pictures in direct daylight.
i broke the running light on one of my switchbacks, waiting on a replacement.
and heres the light output it gives off
heres what they look like off
the lip on the bumper hides them for the most part, you have to be about 10 feet or so away to see them from standing height

its amazing what $8 can do

Hmmm.. I might actually do that too. I like that. So you did two strips on each side? $8 a strip, right?
If you can get a daytime pic with them on when you have time that'd be great.

nope, $8 for 4 strips
2 strips on each side, you can see in the other post for the link of how i stacked em.
and that right there is a god day shot, it was about 4pm in the shade when i took em.
theyre too bright and give off too much glare at dusk/night for me to photograph.
but i will take a daylight shot when i have time
question for you others with LEDs, do you guys still run your fogs?
i have a 35w kit in my fogs, and they match these led strips perfectly in color.
my fogs definitely give off more usable light, but the glare from them makes the strips not AS noticeable than if the fogs were off completely.
Installed a pair of Ultra Thin Audi Style Switchback Flexible Strips from ijdmtoy on my Altima. Removed the bumper so as to have better access to the bottom of the headlight lens.
Took a little more time to take the bumper off an back on, but worth it.

I just dont think many if any Altimas pull this off as clean as it would have to be for me to even bother. A for effort for all that have attempted this, but to me IF it looks like and after thought, it usually really looks like an after thought. Gotta look like it was designed that way from the factory. I think if I were to do this I would actually aquire actual DRL lights from like a Lexus of Audi etc. and spend a great deal of time intergrating them in the headlights or other very carefully.
^ Makes perfect sense, that's the same way I feel about DRLS on our altimas. Audi/ Lexus/ Benz/ and even Honda now makes nice LEDs that are thick and pure white, there's just no aftermarket product that can mimic that yet - except maybe benz style fog lights.
I think the main factor that can make DRL LEDs look good are if we have elongated horizontal headlights like the Acura TL vs the usual squared/ vertical headlights we have
