Leaving AZ soon

Hi all,

Its almost time to say goodbye to Arizona. I am graduating by april end and will be moving out of AZ. Just needed some opinion about what people think about living in CA-bay area against living in Minneapolis. Where would you go if you get a job that pays the same: San Jose or Minneapolis or Portland-Oregon ???

Looks like I will mostly move to Minneapolis. I am thinking i may ultimately find a career in CA-bay area; but this is a very good job for me.

I cant wait to get an offer so I can start shopping for my next car

Something to remember is not only the potential salary you'll get in each city but also the cost of living in each city. MN has a lower cost of living versus CA, so the same amount of money will net you a higher standard of living.

Im not a huge fan of cali, but if those are your only options, I would say cali first. try it out for a year, if you dont like it, transfer

Actually I was thinking the other way. I have spent two summers in cali-bay area and totally loved it. Its just perfect for a single guy who does not need to buy a house.

Minneapolis job is reeeeeeally good for me career-wise (since I am a recent graduate). So I am thinking I will move there and then if I do not like it, I will decide to move to Cali. But ofcourse time will tell whats going to happen. For now, I am getting paranoid as to why the company in MN has not made an offer yet. They said one week, and tomorrow will be one week.
