Yeah, it's kind of hard to organize this kind of thing. vsupra and I have thought about starting something new, but neither of us really know what we are doing. We're just trying everything and seeing what works and what doesn't.

This is off topic, but I figured it'd be the best shot to get someone with an answer...

Where can I buy Hawaii safety check mounts that hang below the bumper, instead of right on it?

I see them often on cars, and specifically on Altimas, but haven't figured out where to buy them.

Also--If I do buy one, I assume I'll have to pay a new $15 or whatever for a new safety check to get new stickers, or do they peel off okay?

Thanks

The mounts are all the same. It's just a matter of mounting it on a different part of the bumper. You can remove the stickers with an extremely dull razor blade very easily.

I actually have no idea where you can buy the mounts. I made my own. I think vsupra knows where to get one though, since he bought his.

You can buy them at razor sport/concepts....Which ever the car part one is. You can also buy them at Redline. Some dealerships sell them but I would assume they sell it for a lot. I bought mine for $12 for the plate that is big enough for recon sticker. I think the smaller one costs like $7.

I think it's hilarious that yours has space for recon and i made mine with the intent of having a recon sticker, yet, neither of us actually has it.

Very true. Then again, we can't get recon because we can't get the rear alignment into spec.
