People do camp out every day but its not really super bad. I've done security there the last 2 years and they do camp at the door fairly early because it does get quite crowded inside quick but not too bad. I would say arrive at least 2 hours before the doors open to get a decent spot.
Yeah...my buddy and I are planning to get there early in the morning. Hopefully the line for badges goes rather quickly. I've been to Wondercon in SF and I hear it's nothing compared to how huge Comic Con is.

...you didn't see the Hall H line today with all the Twilight people.
it was nuts today. lines were crazy at hasbro but I did see Tyrese also saw Dennis miller by hall h when the twilight panel was going on. this defintely was the busiest comic con I attended. got screwed over by mattel and their stupid fast passes (they gave me a fast pass for friday saying that all of thrsdays were out) not good if I only got a one day badge. all I wanted was the hotwheels batpod and tumbler. sucked big enough for me to never buy mattel products ever again even though I collect
batman. sorry for the botching but the weather was nice
