the fact that its easier to chip and tune with u12 then our u13, and i know of some tuning software what can tune for MAP

Other then the 10 or so hours it will take to wire the conversion, and the REAL-TIME emulator ($150) its pretty cheap and easy.

Like i said, thats only if biki doesnt come through in the next 2 weeks or so

hello all. I read this thread and i fully agree with this and have this doen. but recently my darling gf was kind enough to buy me the hks ssqv and i got the recirculating fitting as well and have it set up but the problem is i'm getting about of turbo surge. between shifts i get great response but have that surge. what i'm thingink of is getting a longer route for the air to recirculate. I used to have this long hose with my type s greddy and had no turbo surge but the problem was the spring was either too loose ir too tight so the thing was pretty much shot. but why do you guys think i'm getting so much surge. could it be releasing too much air or not enough?

there should be a screw on the BOV to change the spring pressure. You need to adjust this to eliminate surge.

I googled it and people are saying yes and no about the screw so i'm just gonna call hks directly and ask but i swore they said on the instructions that no adjustment was needed but i dont want to ruin my turbo.

Synapse Engineering

Ill find the other links later on.

There is a member here who works there and posted a while back and i remember reading about it a while ago on the kat boards.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these and if so what did they think.
