tuning turbo altima

How are y'all tuning your turbo altima? I have a "hard tune" I was told by JWT, but just seeing how everyone else is data logging and adjusting fuel

You need to tell us more about your setup to get any worthwhile feedback.

Umm its been a while since I messed with my altima so here a quick list of mods. Turbonetics t3/t4 turbo kit, spearco fmic, walbro fp, jwt cams, port & polished head, jwt 370cc injectors, "hard tune" by jwt, je pistons, under drive pulley, alum. Flywheel, msd ignition, blaster coil, act clutch.

I want to be able to custom tune on dyno but jwt blocks this somehow

I run a Haltech for now. Might swap to something new just to have more fun.

This is the part i'm asking about. Is it a OEM ECU that was tuned by JWT? As far as I know, the OEM ECU can't compensate for positive pressure.

Shameless plug: We've had a plug and play MegaSquirt standalone ECU out for OBD1 Altimas already - we're working on one that fits the late '90s OBD2 models, due out in the next couple weeks.

I think the Uprev System would also be a good option for your setup

PM me for Overlay or Projector Retrofits

It may be a bit buried in the application list - this is the one you want for a 1993.

I make conversion harnesses. Id def check out megasquirt that was my original plans.. 93/94 altima and 240sx obd1 dual cam share the same pinouts minus the electric fans which can be patched into a 240sx ecu.

Emance is iffy.
Jwt is legit my car runs great. Asleep ran his jwt ecu for years and never had any issues.
