200sx se-r turbo

I'm wanting to make 400 - 500 horsepower. About 25lbs. of boost. Should I use a t3/to turbo or a t4?

Well, what other mods do you have? I ask because if you dont have other mods to support your goals, a larger turbo wont get you there. Could you list all of your mods. As for your question....what AR trim are you looking at? Are you going ball bearing? Hey could you also post some pics. Would love to see your car.

The car is cornered in my garage because of the length of time it's taking me to finish my motor. I have cut 7.5lbs. off my crankshaft. I bored .25mm then honed it with a torque plate. I align honed the block after installing arp main studs. I also added the oil squirters under the pistons. As far as the cylinder head I oversized the valves, ported and polished it. I have bought stage 4 cower cams with .530 lift and 280° duration. I also bought aftermarket springs and titanium retainers. To go along with the cams I bought Tomei adjustable cam gears.

I forgot to add I am using mahle forged pistons 9.5 to 1 and Manley h - beam rods with arp rod bolts. Everything is 0 balanced and ready to go. I'm using the stock flywheel for rotating mass.

wow, lots going on! As far as turbos, bro honestly you'll be able to make your goals with either the T3/T4 hybrid or the T4. As long as your able to flow enough air thru the engine youll be fine. What are you using for your intercooler? Fuel mods? I would tell you to look at the Borg Warner turbos.... maybe the S356. Bad assed turbo that will flow a TON of air. Take a look at their different AR trims. Mounting the turbo with a V band or what do you have in mind?
