Talking My Turbo Altima SER build

After years of planning to build my car, I finally got around to actually finishing it.. No small project to say the least.

I decided to go with a completely custom setup. No shortcuts taken, built for reliability. Here's the current setup on the car. Car made 513whp and 434 wtq on 12lbs of boost. Car has the potential to be close to 650whp, but the trans is my limiting factor. Yes, It pulls hard.

Street teaser at not even half throttle : http://vid1253.photobucket.com/album...424_200317.mp4
Dyno vid : http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/05...tml?sort=3&o=1

Built 5at auto trans(getting swapped to 6 speed because i lost third gear already..)
Built 8.8:1 CR short block, Billet main girdle, ARP main, rod, and L19 head studs, revup oil pump
JWT S1 cams and valve springs
ID725 CC injectors
Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump
AAM stage 1 350z fuel return kit
AAM oil pan spacer
Uprev GT MAF
SSIM manifold
75mm BBTB kit
NWP spacer kit
NWP block off plate
GT3582r with tial 1.03 a/r v band housing
Dual tial 38mm MVS wastegates
HKS SSQV BOV

On to the pictures during the build. fabrication of the headers to the combination point for the feed pipe up to the turbo.

Turbo mounting

Downpipe, i went with an oval 3.5" downpipe for clearance. oval piping tucks up tighter then round piping, and 3" oval piping has a smaller overall area then 3" round does, so to even it out i want with 3.5".

Intercooler/pump mounting. I went with a water to air setup instead of the air to air most people run. I chose this setup for a few different reasons. Water to air is much more efficient then air to air. Also space is an issue, so running water to air setup required no cutting my bumper support or anything. the piping is alot more simplistic as well with water to air, much shorter piping and less of a mess of piping.

Release the kracken!!!! Aaron has DONE it! Flux capacitor and all. That thing is a bag, no a few bags of chips and then some. Beautiful work Aaron. Beautiful! Now blueprint it and sells a few kits and this will virtually have paid for itself. Good to hear from you after so long.

Well done! Looks like you pulled all the cats. Did you use O2 sims or disable the code in the ECU?

Lol, your email went to my junk filter...lmao...I fixed it...Stupid Google Chrome. Yeah sold it and bought it back. Demodded it except for visuals before the sale and now its back to near stock. Moved on to an RS5 but still love the SER. Kinda glad I got the oppportunity to get it back. Whether or not you did the fab work or not, YOU are responsible for THIS project, and we have mad respect for this WHOLE thing.
