I am new here, and did quite a bit of searching the forum before joining and posting about the issue I am having with my new to me 2013 Altima. I am having the I-Key System Error show up on my display. All of my features on the car work perfectly, except for the remote start. I can lock and unlock the doors, pop the trunk, etc both with the fob and with the buttons on the car, the car starts without problem. The only option that does not work is the remote start. I lock the doors and immediately press the start button on the fob, the lights flash, and an audible click can be heard from the engine compartment, like the car is going to start, but that is all it does. I only have one fob and key that came with the car, I have replaced the fob batteries with two different ones, I have disconnected the car battery and let it reset with the fob inside, and I have checked fuses. Am I missing something? Are there other things I can try before taking it to the dealership? Could the I-Key system error and the remote start not working be related? Again I have attempted to search and read through the forum, and have tried everything that I have seen. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
