The exposure time is not the same on those photos, therefore the comparison is somewhat meaningless.
Same f-stop but different exposure times. This can be seen by saving the photos and looking at the exif info (Details in Windows).
I can get OEM halogens look brighter and whiter than HID kits if I wanted to.

True. But at the same time you can see a definite difference between the 3 different kinds of setups used. There's no hiding the glare from a PnP kit.

We should post any new Black Friday Deals. HIDextra just started it's annual BF one at 50% off everything. Gonna get a canbus pair for my 240 as a backup since they're more reliable.

I ordered 55W 6000K HIDs from DDM tuning and after only about 3 or 4 months BOTH lights are not working right(my driver side HID stopped working altogether). Since the very first day I had them, as soon as i turned the car on one HID wouldn't be on, so I'd have to turn the lights off and back on until it finally worked. It did that with both sides, and I don't know if I did something wrong, or if DDM just sent me faulty ballasts/bulbs. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the kit hadn't taken like 2 or 3 weeks to get here, and I really don't want to wait that long for another kit that will only work for a few months. Is there anywhere else that sells reliable HID kits that don't take forever to ship?

Are you running a wiring harness with the HID kit?

HID wiring harnesses are really good for eliminating errors for HID kits. IF you don't have one already you should definitely buy one.

DDM tuning kits once used to be good but now I've heard an overwhelming amount of reviews that they suck. You should look at theretrofitsource's HID kits. They're more expensive but you get what you paid for. The warranty, the service, the product quality are all really good and there aren't many issues.

Or you can go with some OEM matsushita/ denso ballasts
