the bluish lighting is not a bad choice as it is bright and not blinding the front traffic as in one of the images, the back of the light flash is clear enough to see

Which did you buy?
Ahhh. Ok, let me get on the correct product. For my two switchbacks, I got the flexible LED strip light that are used on the front only. (These do not require the resistors.)
For the turn-signal bulbs that are already on the car, I replaced the stock 3157 & 1157 factory bulbs with 7.5W High Power LED Turn Signal Bulbs from VLEDS. For the new LED's I had to use a pair of 3ohm resistors.

However, I'm thinking about removing the switchback LED strips. They just don't look as good as I thought they would.

Stock '06 Altima S w/comfort package.

I am also looking to purchased led white amber switchbacks for my front turn signals that are above the fog lights.

I saw the video posted on previous page and it looks awesome.
What exactly needs to be purchased for these to work 100%?

Previous Cars:

2017 Ford Mustang GT
2014 Nissan Altima
2004 Audi A4

Next up:

This is true. I contacted ch1n0el to see what he used because I don't think the info is anywhere else on the forum. It's the V3 Triton with the 7440 base (I have a 2015 Altima 3.5 SL). No resistors. Plug and play. Comes with a weatherizing kit now, which is recommended if you live anywhere wet or cold.

Sorry to bring this thread up again. Just joining in late. Here is what I am planning to get with this as the backup option.

The triton looks very bright to me, kind of redundant to my existing fog lights. The one from first link is not very bright, can be dimmed when used with headlight and has a nice pattern. The only con is that its an aftermarket part assembly.

Past:
2013 Nissan Altima S w/ Remote Start (Purchased used at 23k miles)
Totaled at 57k miles
Current:
2014 Nissan Altima SL w/ Moonroof (Purchased used at 30k miles)
Mods done - LED headlights (Low beam), LED Foglights, LED Switchbacks (95%)
Mods desire - LED headlights (High beam), Radio (Joying or similar) w/ Dashcam, Rear spoiler
