Reset AWD light

I have 2014 Rogue Select and the AWD light stays on constantly and will not turn off. How do I go about resetting it? I have taken it to my mechanic and he has cleared all codes and nothing shows up after he ran a scan

There's an AWD control unit that's located on the back side of the body panel in the luggage compartment. You'll have to remove the luggage side lower finisher (LH) to access it. Check the harness connector by reseating it; the pins may have some oxidation on them. If that doesn't fix it, the unit may be defective.

There is a procedure for testing the AWD control unit that's described in the FSM. You can download a PDF copy from:

I have looked all through the PDF that you sent me but there is nothing about resetting the AWD Is there something else I can do it is becoming very annoying.
