that damage was not caused by shipping. That is a stress crack caused when he did the install. Judging from the size of the hole, he made the hole way too big, and that's probably how he cracked the housing. He could have epoxied it and fixed it before he reassembled the lights, but obviously he didn't.

PM me for Overlay or Projector Retrofits

Mmmm, definitely not a result of the shipping company.

EDIT:

I didn't think it was possible to screw up a MH1 install that badly, but I guess I've been proven wrong.

as I look closer at those pics, It looks like that projector is going to be aiming down a bit. Might be a good idea to get another headlight and redo that side

Both are. The passenger side is the worst of the two.

wow. both sides got messed up in the same spot? inside the housing where even if the package did get messed up, the outer portion of the light would also show damage. He knew they were messed up. Hopefully you didn't pay too much for them

PM me for Overlay or Projector Retrofits

No i didnt break the bank but thats exactly why i took pics of the boxes. The lenses were unscratched. All the tabs were intact.

If i redo other light i may do a quad retro fit. Not sure what other projectors to use and if i want to spend that money.
