I have the same exact problem with my 2008 Nissan rogue with the Bose amplified system I bought the harness with the RCA jacks on them hook those up to the preamps on my kenwood DMX4707s parazon everything I can hear that the Bose amp is powered on as well but I get absolutely no sound from radio CDs or Bluetooth only sound I do get is from the system beep that you can turn on and off in the stereo itself other than that nothing I put two different aftermarket stereos up to confirm it's something up with this rogue but the rogue stock head unit with the 6 disc CD changer by Bose functions absolutely perfect so I am quite confused even tried to hook up a line converter output from aftermarket to radio harness feeding the amplifier still nothing if anyone can help that be greatly appreciated I am going to start putting my toner on wire soon to see where they go to study the wiring more if that's what needs to be done but I've never had this problem in a car before
06 Altima radio not working
My Bose factory unit was lit up this morning but no sound was coming from it. When i got home i checked the fuses in all 3 fuse boxes and they were all good. I then unhooked the battery for 10 minutes and when i hooked the battery back up it wouldn't power up. I then pulled the unit out and checked the connections and re0installed and same issue, no power. I've been searching this forum and Google and seems to be a repeat problem but most posters don't reply with fix. Any recommendations before i take it to an AUdio place?

I know I am probably 2 years too late but here's the solution that I found and you won't believe it.My Bose factory unit was lit up this morning but no sound was coming from it.
Answer: Check the wiring to the rear speakers. If the exposed wiring of the speaker is grounding out, the radio stops playing.
I have had this problem for the last 9 months with my 2006 Altima and just found a solution last week on someone else's post. I must have smashed something against my speaker that twisted the wiring connector so that it was touching exposed wire to bare metal. I wrapped the wire in electrical tape so it wouldn't short out anymore and the radios has been working fine.
Additionally I was having a problem with my gas gauge not correctly showing how much gas was left. Since I fixed the radio issue, my gas gauge is working correctly.

It's on the speaker itself. Take a look at this picture and I hope it explains what I mean.
Right where the white plastic connector attaches to the speaker, you should see two bare wires on the speaker itself.
if those bare wires touch the metal body of the speaker, it shorts out the electrical system for the radio for some reason.
I covered the exposed wires with electrical tape and that solved my problem.

Try resetting the unit by unplugging it from the power source for 10 minutes, then plugging it back in. If that doesn't work, check if the unit has a manual reset button. If not, consider taking it to a professional audio technician for further diagnosis and repair. you can get help with car removal Brisbane
