I have a 1997 Nissan Sentra base model with standard manual, no powering steering and A/C unit since 2001 - second owner. This car has 146K miles on the engine. I have been hearing a clicking sound for a couple of years from the fuse box on and off and I cannot determine what the problem is. The sound I am hearing may be related to the relay unit. I have replaced the clutch, the starter, the the fly wheel for the first time earlier this year. Battery is brand new.

Any idea how to fix this problem?

Pull the relay and see what quits working.
