It would be better to go with a 8" or wider. An 8.5" wide wheel is cool if the offset is +45 of higher. If it is then you will not rub with a 245/35/18. In fact that would be perfect. I have several possible suggestions in this fitment for the Altima. PM me and I'll see what I can find for ya. Maybe get you hooked up with a good deal too.

Will a 19 x 7.5 rim fit our altima? Would it be better to go with 20 x 8.5?
19 x 7.5?
Geeesh...!!!
Talk about a Wagon Wheel...
IMO, if you're going to go with height,
go with some width too. 8" wide at the
very least.

In thier rush to maximize profits off
the import craze, I've seen wheel
companies offer 18 x 7 & 19 x 7" too.
Today, it's all about the "universal"
application or the one size fits all
mentality...give me a break!

I'm installing springs on Thursday. After that I was going to take some pics. The rims have 245/35/19 rubber on them. They are almost the exact same height as the stock rims and tires (just a little wider). The only problem will be quicker wear on the tires and more money to replace.
