the manual says to use 87 octane. i heard it's proper to use whatever's recommended but is it bad to use 89, 91 or 94 octane?

from experience: tank of 87, no noticeable power; tank of 89, power is definitely present.

ive got no performance mods, just a short shirter and a berk WAI. all my mods are sound system related. im guessin i should just stick to the 87. i filled 89 and i thought i was noticing more power but maybe i was just imagining it

hahaha its not that i dont believe you, but it just sounds a little off.

ok so higher octane wont significantly boost the engine performance, but i heard that it may help my engine last longer? what's the verdict on that?
