So I wanted to put a different steering wheel in my car and the hub I ordered wouldn’t fit through the air bag clock so I stupidly decided to try and just take the clock out. I did it on my old civics and it was fine so while was figuring out how to remove it I managed to rip the wound up band connection for the air bag. Now it just cranks and it seems like fuel was cut. I feel incredibly stupid and lost on what to do so any help is appreciated.

Solved it. I had replaced the front engine mount right before this and I knocked the crank sensor loose when I was removing the o2 sensor bracket.

Glad you got it running but I am rather confused.
You replaced the steering wheel.
You were looking to permanently remove the clockspring?
I imagine it broke which is why the band came out. What wheel did you install?
