- Nissan North America Reports August Sales
Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported August total sales of 80,314 units for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 7.3 percent increase versus August of last year.

Coming off yet another year of record sales in 2004, Infiniti enters the 2005 model year with a number of major product enhancements – led by the revised styling of the flagship Q45 and G35 sedans, a more powerful G35 Coupe 6MT model (now with 298 horsepower) and the introduction of Infiniti’s Lane Departure Warning system (LDW) on the Infiniti FX, the first production vehicle in North America to offer this advanced safety system.
- Nissan Unveils Six New Models for Japan
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., unveiled six new models for the Japanese market to be launched by the end of fiscal year 2004. The Murano crossover sport utility vehicle, which goes on sale today, spearheads the product offensive for Japan. The five other models, which will go on sale on separate dates, are the Tiida compact hatchback, the Fuga luxury sedan, the Tiida Latio compact sedan, the Lafesta minivan and the Note compact hatchback.

- Infiniti Releases Photos of All-New 2006 M
The new M, which is scheduled for sale in spring 2005 as a 2006 model, captures essential elements of both the Q45 and the award-winning G35 – and takes them to a new level of engaging luxury and performance.
At the heart of the new 2006 Infiniti M, which is scheduled for sale in spring 2005, is the high-performance power of a choice of advanced V8 or V6 engines. The exterior design optimizes both luxury and sport styling, featuring a low, aggressive hoodline, which flows into the anchored shoulders and contributes to the sporty, powerful silhouette.
The highly expressive interior of the new 2006 Infiniti M, which is scheduled for sale in spring 2005, combines a driver-oriented cockpit with an Infiniti level of luxury and design detail. The Infiniti M features a large cabin space with room to fit five adults comfortably, etched aluminum or wood trim, leather appointments and a long list of available technologies, including Infiniti DVD-based Navigation System and Infiniti Intelligent Key system and push button ignition system.
