Tested both the 2.5 Altima and the 2.4 Accord , 5 spd AT. Liked em both, but the Altima is quicker , as confirmed by Car & Driver tests.
The 08 Accord , at 180 or 190 hp, is still, hard to believe, slower than this Altima !! listed on Vtec forums as 0 -60 at 9.3 secs ! the cvt Altima does 60 in about 7.9, the 5 spd faster. Am I right??
Too bad the Altima depreciates faster than the Accord. Isn't that sad?

Does anyone know the speed and e.t. of the 2.5 cvt Alima? I know Car & Driver had the 0-60 at 7.4 secs, but I can't remember where the cvt performance no.'s were. thanks.

Cvt and 2.5 : what speeds in gears??

The 2.5 and CVT trans. : what speeds do you get at near redline? How often do you drive it using the manual shift feature on the cvt? Why or why not? I think it would be fun (was fun in the brief test drive), but in 3rd, & 4th gears, to what spd can u use those ratios on the hwy ??
