I have a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S with the 2.5 Automatic CVT. Installing new engine.

1) Do I need to take off the torque converter and refill with CVT fluid? Or is this statement true?
"The torque converter uses Nissan CVT fluid NS2- the converter draws the fluid from the CVT. You fill the fluid into the CVT itself,"
2) If so what is the procedure to remove the torque converter, do I rotate clockwise or counterclockwise until it clicks and pull?
How much fluid does the torque converter take?

Thank You

The norm is to leave converter in and do nothing but on FWD they can slide off the trans input if you tilt it too much with engine gone.
