Hey guys I’m new here. I bought an 08 Maxima 3.5 SE from my parents. It currently has 225k miles and zero issues since I’ve had it till now. When I shift thru the gears from park, every gear works properly until I get to (D)drive. When I shift to (D) the dash display and transmission automatically register it in sport mode but the lever is not slapped over to sport mode yet. I have to slap over to manual shift to go thru the gears which all shift smoothly. Any ideas on how I could get it to go back to registering (D) as it should?

How much $$$ are you willing to spend to 'fix' a nonexistent imaginary problem?

Save your money for the upcoming CVT replacement. 225K....you are on borrowed time with that CVT.

I understand I’m on borrowed time. I just didn’t know if it was something as simple as a fuse, switch, or simple reset process I could look into or if anyone else has even had the same problem.
