What's up?

I've recently a 2009 Sentra!

The previous owner was told that it needs a new transmission and catalytic converter. I thought it was unusual that a 2009 would need a whole new transmission.

Turns out it just needed the transmission fluid changed badly, a new battery and basic maintenance.

On my car's to do list:

Replace the bottom engine torque mount, it's split but holding fine

A transmission cooler (after research, I learned that sometimes the transmission can have overheating problems on long drives)

Replace Left strut boot, and inner axel boot.

The muffler is starting to look rusty too

Would a hood vent help with keeping the transmission a little cooler?

Thanks for the welcome!

Yup, got the transmission fluid from my local dealer.

Bad tranny fluid and burnt spark plugs we're holding back the car.

It's running great now. Came here looking suggestions on upgrades and preventative maintenance.

That is great, nice work . Having clean CVT fluid and nstalling the cooler is probably the most important preventative maintenance you can do for this car. I will change my CVT fluid every 30k to be safe. Hope someone can give you more input on upgrades and whatnot
