Service Manual CD's (Searchable/Printable type) are very good
I have bought several Service Manual CD's, some as a addition to paper manuals which I already had, and the info was identical, convenient, searchable and printable. I already have a service manual CD Nissan Altima years 2010, 2011 and 2012 (all on the same CD.) It is in a 'pdf" format. Sometimes it is not as easy to return to a previous spot in the manual - but that may be just me not knowing all the ends and outs - (I have not really needed to know). Just make sure you get one that says it is "Searchable" and "Printable". Mine only cost $10 - I don't remember if there was additional shipping but I think $3.
Part of the answer to your question is I will definitely get another for the 2013 model. I am not in a hurry, I don't need it now, and will see if the price drops (I have seen it listed for $30 + shipping). The Service Manual is a must have if you want to know everything there is to know about your vehicle - and is a great help to make any repair or remove / replace any part -- When my Warranty expires.
