First Nissan. Have ~1K miles. Coming from 2009 Sonata. Tried 2016 Sonata but Altima felt smoother & wife liked better -easier to handle. Sonata dealer wouldn't deal but Altima dealer would, so here I am.

Observations: Dinky oil filter, great highway only gas mileage (indicated 45!), change brake fluid every 20K but don't change transmission fluid (WTH?), sexy looking in brilliant silver.

Front end lower than many curbs, potential ouch.

DRL intedrated with fog lights, appears like Canadian models from previous years. Is there a LED PS19W equivalent?

As 12Altima2.5s said, the fluid change service interval for the CVT transmission should be every 30k, at least that is what it is on my '14 3.5 and I doubt it's any different for new models or the 2.5. The owner's manual will say for sure. Like he alluded to, you don't want to do anything to piss off CVT transmissions, they are finicky enough with proper service intervals.

Welcome to the Altima family!
