E-Brake light turns on when braking hard and turns right off when I stop braking hard. Other than that the E brake works fine when I engage it or disengage it. I’m not entirely sure if thats a feature or not. But my car only has 22k miles.

Sounds like it is ABS engaging or pre-engaging. at only 22k miles, take it to the dealership with any worries, if the dealer has a note that you had an issue and they do not rectify it; down the road if your warranty expires and you have the same issue, they will usually have to fix it.
