I have crossed into the brighter side and swapped my halogen bulbs with LEDs (all of them), and I am experiencing hyper-flashing. Yes, I also know about LOAD RESISTORS, and they worked, but they're overheating, and I'm afraid that they might melt any plastic they might come in contact with, so I have bought the OEM Flasher Relay.

Are there any certified or seasoned mechanics that would know the answers to the questions I have listed below:

1) Can I use a flasher relay? and if so
2) Where in the fuse box should I place it?

To find the correct relay I went old school and simply followed the familiar “clicking/blinking” sound, and eventually it led behind the dashboard... 😩

Not necessarily as it turns out I was correct l, a load resistor does exactly that, resistor the wattage therefore overheating and therefore leading to damage. The safest way is the led electric relay because it would fix the four directional signal lights as oppose to the resistors; it's a “bandaid to the symptom and curing the sickness”
