1 - anyone have this type of setup?
2 - do you find that the after market radio skips more on bumps?

I have an Alpine in the same kit. I have absolutely no problems. Your head unit is probably not securely attached.

Here's your problem: KENWOOD

I've never had good luck with Kenwood.

HMMM my current Kenwood skips less than the two previous Pioneer and one Sony deck that i had in my car.... i would take Kenwood over Pio any day!!!

BTW to the original poster, you shouldn't have worse skipping problems with an aftermarket deck than the stock one, most of the time that you do it is either Eclipse or it is install error.
