what/how to be able to plug my car into at shows. I know i've seen something before but can't remember where i seen it. I mostly want this so i can keep my tvs going at shows when a plug is available.

buy a seperate generator to power everything? :confused:

I would imagine some type of battery charger or trickle charger, You can hard wire it under the hood and just plug the cord in at shows.

get a long extension cord..plug it into the wall, then use a power convertor and use the crimps directly to ur battery

At shows you need a 2nd battery to run your system with the car off.

whats the difference b/w using the batt in ur car and a seperate battery?

most people who compete and/or show their car at car shows have a second battery.

They use a battery isolator, and run their system off the second battery when the engine isn't running. This way the system only drains from the second battery (usually deep-cycle) and never affects the battery used for starting and powering the rest of the car.
