I have an old kenwood or pioneer amp thats been good to me so far dont know the model but i got the specs, wanna know if it will be good for the shiva sub my girl bought me today?

specs as follows:

Hopefully i can use this amp til i get money for a better amp. just wanna know if can use it for a while .

That amp will work fine. Just wire the voice coils in parallel and bridge the amp and you should be getting about 340 W. The Shiva is meant to handle much more, but it's a very efficient speaker so that amp will be plenty to shake you up a bit.

Who knows, you may even decide that amp is plenty and not need to get another one.
