I have a 2002 Nissan Altima with a standard radio. This is the 3rd time my Audio has gone out. I fixed it the time by putting the mirror/audio fuse upside down. Then the second time the audio automatically came back on. Now it just stopped. The fuse is still good. Don't know what to do... Need steps please

I think he rotated it 180' in the fuse holder. Could point to dodgy connections in the fusebox itself. Sounds more like an intermittent short in the radio wiring that is blowing the fuse and overheating the weakest connection..possibly a crimp in the fusebox wiring.

Partially blown up? Is that like slightly alive? Sorry man...I've just never met a fuse that wasn't either 0 or 100%.

Ok, in reality the fuse is blown, but the conductor is close enough that an arc can still occur and energy will flow through it. Make more sense? So technically the fuse is blown, but it acts weird. I've had this happen a bunch, and to the naked eye the fuse looks almost perfectly fine.
