I want to add Carplay to my Altima. I am usually not a fan of adding aftermarket stereos to my car (I don't like the look). But hoping there is receiver out there that fits well in the dash and looks good. I have the SL with the tech package with the larger screen.

Any recommendations?

If you need CD audio playback, navigation and Apple CarPlay check out the Kenwood DNX696S radio. If you don't need CD audio playback and navigation (since you will use Apple CarPlay), check out the Alpine ILX-W650. Two very nice units.

I will be getting the Kenwood unit for my 2013 Altima 2.5L SL since my wife wants CD audio playback and navigation since she has a small data plan with her smartphone. Also, I like the fact that the Kenwood radio has two (2) USB inputs since I can use one for Apple CarPlay while the second one for USB music playback (I don't want to carry around CDs).
