I now have a question...

With the car running, and the car in PARK, if you step on the brakes, do you hear a clicking sound from the shifter area as if its underneath?

I just noticed it today. When I turn on the car, and step on the brakes, I hear a clicking sound from the shifter area. But its not there in gear.

the car is a 99.. thanks..

I hear that in my first gen. I always thought it was the shift lock.
