Hopefully I'm posting this into the correct area. Apologies if I'm not.
I have a pretty simple question pertaining how to insert the radiator into our 2002 Nissan Altima. A friend of my mothers says you can put it in backwards, but personally I don't think it's a good idea. My moms friend insists it's fine. He wants to put the radiator in backwards and stretch the hoses up and around and make it fit. It sounds like a terrible idea, to me. I just wanted to ask to be sure though, whether it would be okay to put the radiator in backwards or not. Please help

Your mother needs to pick a new friend. This one is an idiot. What drugs is he taking?

Why would you attempt to install it backwards? What are you attempting to gain?

Does he plan on removing the air conditioner condenser, which sits in front of the radiator, and leaving it off?

Only someone who knows so little about cars to not even know they have wheels on them would suggest putting a rad in backwards as you would destroy half the car trying to do it.

Ditto dumping that person, he WILL cost somebody a LOT of money.
