2012 2.5 s Nissan Altima
Was driving on the highway today and out of nowhere my gear turned into a neutral. I was able to cruise to an exit ramp and went through every gear. The tachometer would drop revs like it's trying to shift but I can't feel it shift at all.
Below are the codes I scanned off the OBD.
Only lights on are the check engine and traction.
Got it towed to a shop and he told me I need to replace the transmission, which only has 135k miles on it... does that sound right or is he trying to get 6K out of me
My car broke down and this is meant to be a loaner car until I get a new one. Is this a known problem? I have never driven a cvt nor a nissan before.
