Changing the CVT Transmission Fluid

I'm not sure the capacity of the transmission in my 2013 3.5, but I have a real concern that I may have topped it off a while ago with the wrong fluid. I would have just gone to AutoZone and grabbed CVT transmission fluid thinking it is the correct one. IIRC, I didn't add more than a 1/3 of a quart. What sort of issues could this cause? Could this be the cause of the worsening issues I'm experiencing? (weird stutter or something, on acceleration...note: spark plugs and fuel injectors are not the issue)

I'm to the point now where I'm almost willing to take the chance on completelely flushing the transmission and getting some new fluid. I have been told not to do it because I don't know when it was changed last. I'm at 189k miles and got it at around 140k.
