just as dangerous as driving around the city. actually better, if your clutch goes out on the highway, you can just coast to a stop and pull over. if it's in the city, you may cause an accident and/or get in ppl's way

just get it fixed asap

even better point, so the answer is not very dangerous. but you still have just as good of a chance of it going out, it doesn't matter if you're on the highway or in the city. it's just that you use it less on the highway.

what i'm saying is, higher speeds won't do anything. it can still go out just as easily

As long as you can get up to speed it won't do anything to the clutch.
It will more likely go when you are getting up to speed with the shifts.

I blew out my friends clutch (mind you as I hopped into the car he told me the clutch was about to go) trying to get rolling from an intersection that was going up hill. It was on it's last legs and died miserably.
