i was told by a friend that if you take your springs to a performance shop that they can compress the springs for a couple days by holding them together. This way you can get your car even lower like 2 more inches.

i have intrax springs and i want the front lowered more so it lays right on the tire.

has anyone does this?

Or do you have an different ideas?

Generally, the springs will return to their regular form unless they are overstressed. Some shops will compress then heat the spring to cause it to compress easier thus lowering your car. I do not recommend doing either of these, they have questionable results and will shorten the life of your springs.

If you want a lower car get the right spring or get coil-overs. Don't cheap out on suspension, its important.
