Hey All, looking for a maybe a point in the right direction...
2015 Altima S
80k miles
Cranks but no start
1st question
Where is the crankshaft position sensor located?
I hear fuel pump making noise when about to start could it be relay? Fuse?
Had a Mass Air Flow sensor code in past but sprayed sensor and it was gone.
Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Any codes? Do you have cranking RPM showing up on the scan tool while cranking the vehicle? Does the engine sound like its making compression while cranking? The fuel pump comes on for a short time when key is in and engine is off to prime the fuel system, that's probably the noise you are hearing. Try spraying some starting fluid in the engine while someone cranks to see if it runs on the spray. If so its a fuel issue.

But it actually started and ran on starting fluid for a couple seconds? Its just a quick check to narrow down the problem. Once the engine consumes all the starting fluid you sprayed it dies again cause its not getting fuel. Check fuel pressure.
