OK, im driving today back from class and I feel this slight vibration by the gas and brake pedal whenever im deccelerating(sp?). If I put my foot back on the gas, it goes away. Same way for braking quickly. I turn my music down and I can here this loud pulsating sound coming from the front of my car. I thought i had a flat tire but it turns out i dont. Does this sound like the symptoms of a lump in the tire or something?

you should examine your tires, but if it was the tire it wouldnt be a problem that only occured while you were slowing down.

is it while you hit the brakes or just when you let off the gas?

cause if its when you hit the brakes it may be that your rotors are warped and need to be tourned.

a shimmy when you hit the brakes is also a sign of bad alignment....does your wheel pull to one side at all when you hit the brakes???

when you hit the brakes on a car with ABS, the calipers pulsate very quickly as to not lock up the brakes, and on some vehicles the noise is loud....................:angry2:
