I am getting the feeling I have a pretty rare car..Who else has these options


1993 GLE Black with Titanium Interior (exactly like the 1993 Brochure)
Automatic with Limited SLip Differential
Antilock Brakes
4 Wheel Disc
Heads up Display
Leather Interior

Yeah those are actually fairly hard to come across. Do you have a wierd VIN # by chance??? I know thats an odd question but some of the 93s that I have seen with HUD & LSD had strange VIN #s.

Yes! it's pretty rare... Only the '93s came with LSD, automatic climate control and HUD... Nissan decided to remove those features on the '94 and later models. You couldn't even get them as an option.

Anyone know of alternatives to the really expensive Levoc and Razo Automatic shift knobs with O/D?

I ordered the car with Every Option Available at the time.
With the exception of the keyless entry system. they show it in the brochure but I could not get it.

Your tranny code does not appear to have any mention of the LSD.

code needs to be either f04a or f04v....maybe they lied to you?
fsm doesn't have a method to verify lsd on auto, but try this:
1) put your ebrake on and chock the rear tires
2) put the car in neutral
3) jack up the front of the car till both front wheels are off the ground
4) rotate one wheel forward and see which way the other wheel goes.

if they go opposite ways, you don't have lsd. if they go the same way, I'll give u my 2k2 Altima kit.

I don't have my factory manual with me... but i know that LSD tranny model # ends in a "V", the non LSD ends in an A. You appear to have neither of them. You are reading the # under "trans" right?

Demmy, he misread the last one, it is NOT 1 its A. He does not have LSD.
