Does anybody know of Nissan having any recalls on the transmission of a 2014 Nissan Altima type S

If the CVT trans they can be junk and way ahead of a normal time. They have managed to avoid recalls.

You know who would know if Nissan is having any recalls on the transmission (CVT) of a 2014 Nissan Altima type S?

Any Nissan dealer, that's who would know. Give them your VIN and see what happens.
