Driver Side Window Wiring

So as usual, I go to fix 1 thing and break something else.

Anyways, does anyone know where I can find a diagram showing which wires go into which slots on the drivers side window connector? I am talking about the white clip you need to take off in order to get the door panel off. It has 7 wires and isn't labeled. All the wires came out when I was removing the clip.
It would be the top connector, not the brown or the middle small white one.

Orrrr, if anyone has the time and they can take the door assembly apart (two screws, and pull up the housing) and take a picture of where the wires go you get bonus points. I have tried mixing and matching the wires in many different configs and can't get everything to work.

Yea, I checked thru google up and down. The only thing I found was this diagram where the wires were numbered but the wires going in are color coded. Was of no help. Maybe you will have better luck, thanks!

Those wires go in here:

After they are seated inside, there is another piece that secures them in that clip which goes on top of that. I need something that says what color wires go where or a picture showing it all correct. lol what a mess.

^ as ilook at this im not sure thats the altima switch, google said it was, butt hat doesnt look like the same switch you have,if your car shares the Q37 switch, i can get a pic of that, it looks close to what you posted

Nah, that doesn't do it. Just called the local Nissan spot and they said I would have to leave my car overnight lol. Asked them if they just had a diagram I could reference and they said "I dont think so" wtf

sorry then,i cant find it, found everything from Corvettes to crappy 80's cars, but no Altima.

wtf? how do they plan on fixing it without a diagram? dumb-asses:crazy:

on a side note, when you do get it fixed use colored markers to mark which wire goes where..... fail safe

wouldnt your passenger side have the same harness? you cant look at that one?

Thanks for trying to help, I really appreciate it.
The passenger side only controls passenger window and locks.
Driver side controls all windows, power mirrors, door and window locks.
On a side note, at least I have new speakers installed.

Believe I have come to realize that this unit actually controls the power mirrors. And I have found a diagram for it even though it is written in some alien language that I do not understand. However, some windows roll up and down and others don't. Now I am clueless because everything seems to be plugged in properly. Time for more trial and error.

ehh, i dont envy that at all, time consuming. let me know if you get it working, if it's not too hard ill remove my door panel and take a picture of it for you

It's all good, not outta the woods yet. If I can't figure out the windows I will shoot you a pm.
Also, thanks again for the speakers. Sounds ten times better now. Was kinda weird tho because even though some of my old ones didn't look blown, no tearing, they definitely sounded that way.

Will do, luckily though the only wires that totally came out are the ones you posted. I think maybe the others are just loose or something. After the sharks game I'm gonna head into the non-insulated frozen garage and give it another go.

Thanks a lot guys but unfortunately it seems to be something else although I am not sure what it could be. The windows want to roll down sometimes but only when I hold it at an angle of some sort. Checked the connections on the whole thing there and everything is on tight.
Connected all the wires in the correct place as is in the posted pictures but nothing works now that I put it all back in. :banghead:
Off to the auto repair shop! :eek:wned:

Well, this just got worse. Just checked BT and nothing works on any of the doors lol. Maybe blew a fuse somehow connecting and reconnecting things. Doubt it is the power window lock because even the power door locks don't work on the passenger side. Shucks.

What's weird is that they will work if I am pressing the brown connector in really hard while holding it up. But it isn't loose. Not everything will work when I do that either so it may not even be me pushing in on it that's having an effect. If that's also the case it probably isn't a fuse either because if it was blown nothing would work ever. Damn, I am lost haha I hate electrical messes.

Quick update. Now the dash doesn't light up. Odometer is blank and the lights that illuminate the speedo and tach aren't working...and my radio and all of the lights there are also off until I turn my headlights on. Shat. Time to go to the shop.

#30 ·
I just don't get how it could be something other than the wiring since if I hold it a certain way the windows and locks work. But then the radio and dash shouldn't be fubar'd if that was the only problem.
Just to clarify, if it is the bcm then this is all I would need to fix things?
2002 NISSAN ALTIMA BCM BODY CONTROL MODULE

That isn't as expensive as I thought it would be.
