eclipse faster than altima?

Im not all too familiar with eclipses, i try to avoid them cuz around here everyone has em, I would think that unless the RS is turbo, you could take that automatic, as for the other 5spd with headers and intake, I would say your chances are slim, I demolished a 98 eclipse with my 91 stock maxima, but i havent raced one in my altima yet, just dont go up against a turbo or you will be hurting

Just race it and find out thats the easiest way to find out. I have a friend that has a 98RS with a few mods that claims he can punish me in the 1/4. He runs high 16's to low 17's and seen my timeslip that I got from the track when I ran 16.3 with an intake and claims he can beat me. He says his mph is higher than mine at the end but mine is too when I dump the clutch when launching. I never raced an eclipse but it might be close neither car is that quick anywayHmm......My friend has a 97 GS with an AEM intake and the car is pretty fast......it's an auto as well.
I have alot of mods on my slow ass auto and she can take me off the line.....i get ahead later on though....the trannies are obviously way different being that the Eclipse is a sportier car....
They Respond to mods really well too.....modded Eclipses will surprise you.

HIPPO on skates, if you're gonna flame, flame right. besides, the alty is a 4 door SEDAN, not a wannabe sports car. I think that speaks volumes if some base model 4 door sedan can beat a sports car, hell I bet everyone on this website, no check that, the world would rather pay the insurance rate for a faster sedan over a slower sports car any day. and to clarify your other error, an se, gxe, or a gle will easily hand an AUTO gs or rs its ass. the problem with mitsubishi has always been it's auto trannys, they suck and they'll break under the stress of 250hp, unless you sink about 5k into it. mitsubishi also has a problem buying good parts all around for it's engines. it's like a ford or a chevy, for the car to have high hp, it's gotta have major internal work done, I mean everything, crank, pistons , rods, valves, heads, springs, hell, it even needs a radiator, tb, and a whole host of other parts just to reach 400hp. so if you want to get into a flame war on mitsubishi vs nissan, bring it on.

Yes I dropped a turbo into my car to make it go faster, but on the contrary, I eat GS-T's and GS-X's for lunch. I hate to break it to you, but with the mods that they listed, there is no way that that green eclipse could ever be a 10 second car. and to take the reliablity issue, any auto eclipse owner would gladly switch to a 5-speed in a blink of an eye. besides, this flame war was never about speed, you seemed to want to prove people wrong with no evidence besides your own conjecture which I "take with a grain of salt". have you ever driven a turboed eclipse? do you even have a license? are you just some post whore who thinks they know a lot about cars, but doesnt know a crank from a camshaft? so until you grow up and actually get a license, or atleast learn a little about cars before you start flaming people, shut up and learn first.
