My 05 Maxima 5spd auto SE is now over heating bubbling in the antifreeze reservoir almost about to over flow. After doing a EGR delete. It has a new thermostat an water.pump previously installed I did all work on my own. but since then it was running ok. Until today this evening starting to almost over flow in the reservoir an started to rise in temp to abnormal temp almost all the way to high

During the removal of the EGR system, you may have disturbed the electrical wiring for the cooling fans; check their operation.

Ok coo thanks to both of you maybe I can look in these routes. I also just realize my reservoir/expansion tank was brittle and I pushed a hole in the corner of it with my finger. With little to no effort. So this was my leaking problem. Do you think doing a EGR delete messed with the computer? I did put the resistor on the plug/wire that plus into the EGR which I think measures temp? Idk I always though about that. Cause if I cant figure this out. I might put EGR back on and put some original catalytic converter from O'Reilly's back on, rather then these dry a** ebay catalytic converter. Lol my fault, was looking for the cheaper price.

So fans come on I replaced the reservoir but my Nissan is not over heating anymore but rather the coolant is boiling out the new reservoir lid. The top radiator hose is hot but the lower radiator hose is cold. I'm unsure at this point. I did replace water pump and thermostat on this motor.
