I have the factory bluetooth and it is mounted up by the map lights. I want to remove it and put the sun glasses holder back in (i believe that is what is there in place of the bluetooth module).

Is that sound correct?

 

You have BOTH of them (bt and sunglasses holder) in there, not either or.
Post a pic of what you're talking about as i'm a bit confused why u'd need to pick one or the other....

FYI what you have in there is not oem factory bluetooth, it's aftermarket probably installed by the dealer to add to the price of the car.

Yeah, that's not OEM. The OEM bluetooth controls are on the steering wheel and the antenna is in the trunk next to the Bose amp. But you probably don't have that either.

So you would rather have the sunglasses holder instead of Bluetooth??? I rarely store my glasses in there because they rattle like crazy when the bass hits. Get a glasses holder and put them in the center console or in the compartment under the climate control. Seriously, unless your BT is not working, I see this swap as a downgrade.

 

According to his other threads he's looking for a double din with bt so it makes sense
