Fog lights or driving lights? I am going to install some piaa fog or driving lights this weekend. Aren't the factory ones consider fog lights and only extend the width of the light. I think I will like the driving ones better becuase it will light up the road better.

I changed my headlights first and my fogs 2nd. I recommend you do the same. Headlights are more luminous than fogs..much more practical for night driving. Fogs are more for looks. But, be careful to stick with 55W H1s and not the 100W+ bulbs out there. Otherwise, your wires will fry.

DO YOU HAVE ANY PICTURES OF YOU HEADLIGHTS. In my experiences in the past replacing my factory headlights with higher wattage xenon blue bulbs, the brightness is less.

Excellent bulb site! Philips is always the highest rated bulb. I bought the 70Watt Rallyes for the fogs and the 100Watt Rallyes for the high beams. Will try to post a pic later. VERY bright and they're plain old halogens.

So they are just white. No kind of HID look? Cool. I would like to either get some driving/fog lights or upgrade my bulbs. I dont want to go to high in the watts because of melting the factory wiring.

They are very white. The HID light between the fogs(near the car)and the high beams(most distant from the car) is no longer visible on the road as a bluish color and seems almost dim by comparison(when I have to turn them off).
I was aware of the possibility of a wiring problem and have checked the wiring twice now after long drives with no visible meltage.

Aren't they the same for all 2002 altimas without the hid lights?

yeap.. and they are all listed on your owner's manual
h1-low
9005-high

I am pretty sure I am going to go with a hid looking low beam and a pair of fogs that are also hid looking. Just can't afford to drop 400.0 for the real thing.
