I get a weird knock type noise when i pull into my driveway and back out of my driveway. Ive checked ball joints tie rods engine mounts etc. Miles are at 168k. What might be the issue? Also rear end squeaks over bumps as well im puzzled.
Something's worn, loose, or rusted out. Could be the coil spring on the strut if the noise is from the front. If it's the rear, then it could be that the rear lower link in the suspension is about to fail, a known problem in the US and Canada where road salt is used.
