Wife just got back from the nissan stealership after an oil change. The only issue they could find after and hour and a half, (for an oil change) on our 2009 Maxima SV was recommended to have a"BG fuel injector Cleaning service all"

Quote description:
"During quality vehicle inspection found fuel line and connections/fuel tank band/fuel vapor tank vent system hoses in red condition. Recommend fuel injection service."
Quoted $182.29

What exactly is this? A loose hose clamp? I imagine I could take it to a local shop for less, but want to know what they are referring to.
Regards,
Dave

If they recommend fuel injection cleaning then thats exactly what they are asking to do. They want to clean your fuel injectors which is a good idea for any vehicle over 30k miles. It will unclog the injectors and clean them so that they all spray evenly and its good for better gas mileage. Hit the thx button plz if my info helped.;)
