yes, first gen stock is .44
i got a 97 and i usally get 200 to 240.... is that bad?
Those with "poor mileage" - when you get to 200+, and you stop for gas, how many gallons do you get into it?
Yeah, when I first got my car I thought i was getting horrible gas mileage (225-250 miles to tank) but then when I realized when I fill up..I am only putting in 10 or 11 gallons...so...I guess it's not that bad, you just have to get gas more frequently..but you aren't necassarly getting bad gas mileage.

My question is though, I think i posted this before...but im pretty sure the altima has a 14 gallon tank though right? Is it that my gauge is offset or something? Or once the needle hits Empty..Do I still have another 2 or 3 gallons left? Just wondering why Nissan would advertise a 14 gallon..but have it hit E when you use 10 or 11..? Just seems strange to me.......anyone have any reasons?
The tank has 14.8 gallons! I have tested this myself. The light comes on when you have 2 gallons left.
I have bosch 4 way platiums in my alti. do they have to be gapped too? and if they do how do I doe that? thanks.

How did YOU test it? Just curious, so I can compare to how I tested it.
And like the gauges, everyone's lite is different. I know if I fill up right when my lite comes on, I can only get about 11 gallons in.

Nope. Bosch +4's are pregapped and cannot be easily gapped. Just put them in.

I ran my car till empty

lol, best test there is...

Am I just stupid? Or do you all have second gens? I have a first gen 94 gxe....Is there a fuel light? I looked in the manual a while ago quickly and didnt see one on the dash? Also...There was also something about a "heads up" display or something for the MPH that reflects on the windshield....Is this an Altima thing too? or just Nissan? Wondering what models have them...?

The fuel light is in the fuel gauge. Its next to the E on the gauge and its a little round circle that will light up and orange yellow color.
